Subjects in Plain Sight

I took a walk down the street this afternoon intent on finding interesting subjects in stuff I pass by every day.  I brought my Panasonic GF1 and snapped just a half dozen shots.  Here are my favorites.  This first one is a photo of a light post where (probably) generations of local youth have placed their used gum (hopefully it's not a temporary storage or trading post).  I call this "The World According to Gum"

This image is of reflections in a puddle of water.  Seeing as I'm located in Seattle it's not an especially rare subject.  I love how the pebbles look like stars.
